The 'fluff' is focused on Force using traditions, the history of the Jedi & Sith and how the Empire came to rule. It has Careers for Force-using characters, and more Force power trees than the other CRBs, related gear and detailed lightsaber info. Want to focus on the Jedi and using the Force? You want Force & Destiny CRB. The focus of the NPC's and 'fluff' is on the latter portion of the Clone Wars.Īs others have noted, you can more or less get away with any one Core book - but there are some important differences: Additional Career options for Jedi, a lot of content for Clones (a Clone species, Career options, equipment), and other good stuff. It just hit shelves where I am (East Coast U.S.) a few weeks ago, just got my pre-order through FLGS on Sunday.
Collapse of the Republic has some really excellent content for players / GMs as well.
